Reviews
Yum! We were so glad we picked this place.
The food was delicious. The Sauce on the chicken was tasty (variety available) with a hint of a kick.
Drinks... there was a selection available. Soju anyone?
The "server" was adorable. Okay, the human was good, too.
(Bathroom was difficult to get in. )
Came here with some friends and ordered the large half and half combo. The food was filling but lacking in flavor. The soy garlic have a decent kick to them but they’re just oversized wings and drumsticks with no real seasoning.
I think the next time I go I’ll get something other than the chicken. Definitely a good environment though and very kind people. Also, they have that cool robot that brings out your meal and then they serve you your order.
Edit
Having previously ordered from this restaurant through Uber, I decided to visit in person to compare the onsite experience. The consistency between the two experiences reassured me of the restaurant's quality.
Starting with drinks, we opted for the Korean beer Sapporo, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. Its refreshing taste set a positive tone for the evening.
Moving on to appetizers, we tried both the pork buns and the Korean tacos. The Korean tacos were generously sized and incredibly filling. Personally, I couldn't get enough of the delicious pork buns – a flavor explosion that left a lasting impression.
For the main course, we ordered the buldak and house fried rice. The buldak was good, delivering on flavor, while the house fried rice had a hint of sweetness that might not be to everyone's liking.
In summary, my overall opinion remains unchanged – this is a genuinely nice place. The diverse menu, coupled with consistent quality, makes it a reliable choice for a delightful dining experience. Looking forward to returning and exploring more of their offerings.

I recently ordered from Bonchon Bolingbrook through Uber Eats, and I must say, it was a culinary delight! The Korean BBQ Chicken and Spicy Chicken Sliders were nothing short of amazing, making this my new go-to place for wings.
The Korean BBQ Chicken was a revelation of flavors. The marinade was rich and savory, infusing the chicken with a perfect blend of sweetness and smokiness. Each wing was meticulously cooked to perfection, achieving a delightful crispiness that added an extra layer of satisfaction to every bite.
The Spicy Chicken Sliders were a fiery adventure for my taste buds. The level of spice was just right – enough to excite the palate without overpowering the other flavors. The sliders were a perfect size, allowing me to savor the bold taste of the spicy chicken without feeling overwhelmed.
What truly sets Bonchon Bolingbrook apart is the attention to detail in the preparation of their chicken. The crispiness of each wing is a testament to the skill in the kitchen. It's evident that they take pride in delivering a quality product to their customers.
Not only were the flavors on point, but the portion sizes were generous, ensuring a satisfying meal. The packaging for delivery was well done, maintaining the freshness and integrity of the food.
I've never dined in. Only taken take out for half and half soy garlic chicken strips and spicey, seasoned fries and fried rice. Fried rice was very plain with little flavor. LOVE the flavorful chicken. Reason for only 4 stars is due to cost for very little food. Staff are friendly and helpful with ordering and explaining meals, ingredients and options.
Fun place with great flavor. I really enjoyed the Pork Buns and Bulgogi fried rice with added kimchi bacon! As a guy who likes spice I enjoyed the flavor but buyer be warned, the spice level for the spicy wings is not for the weak! 🔥
First time coming here and was excited to try it based on the reviews and all the good things I heard about them from random people. For the price I paid I honestly expected better. The presentation of the food was wonderful but some dishes were lacking in other areas.
The good: the fries and bulgogi tacos were amazing. The fried rice was pretty good but does have a hint of sweetness which surprised me (the coleslaw was also on the sweeter side, personally not my cup of tea)
The okay: the drumsticks were ok but seemed a little dry, flavor was wonderful though.
The bad: the chicken katsu was by far the most disappointing meal for me. Looks can be deceiving as parts of the chicken were rubbery and inedible and the rice was dry. What was left that could be eaten was good though.
Overall, for the price I honestly do not think this place is worth it. You can find better food for less. The place was clean and the server was friendly so A+ for that. And the robot cat was super cute.
Stopped here for lunch on a Thursday. Simple setup, have a seat and they get your order. I tried the boneless 10pc while my wife had the wings & legs lunch. We both had steamed rice although you can get other sides like fries with some costing extra ($1-$3) We both had a can of soda as well.
Chicken was good and my two selections of sauce for the half and half were Korean BBQ and Spicy. The BBQ itself has perhaps a touch of spice to it and the spicy was definitely spicy. My wife mentioned her chicken was a bit spicy as well (she's not into spicy foods) but not too much.
There is a little robot that delivers the food to the table. You remove your dishes when it arrives and press on the touchscreen when you have your food and it will roll away from your table.
All said and done it was about $27 without tip for the two of us. I did like the chicken and it's a good crunch to it.
This is my go to place for Korean chicken! Fried chicken is always the best out of town. New flavor ‘k-bbq’ is so much better than spicy or soy for me. But guys, just don’t order ‘bibimbap’ here. I can’t say the meal is a bibimbap as a Korean myself. the rice was different and no sesame oil. the flavor also pretty bland. Just try fried chicken. they are amazing.
